a few years back I went on a mountain trip, alone. I had walked the similar trailbefore as I intended that lovely morning in May. I parked my car at the car parking space and placed on my gear. This a particular trailwas one of the maximumharder ones, and that i didn’t meet anyone else in the market within the wilderness. After a two hour walk uphill I arrived at a cave entrance that I had passed several times prior to now, but never had stopped and entered.

this present day was different; i ended, by coincidence, because my legs were a little sore from a visit two days earlier, and that i ended to stretch out. I remember getting into; and the following minute I aroused from sleep on my side, in total darkness and with pain all over the place my body. I had gotten a large bump on my head that gave me a pounding headache. nothing dangerous. i attempted to rise up, but a burning pain from my left leg stopped me instantly.

I came upon in no time that my left leg was totally wet from a undamagedbloodstream from a wound on my thigh. Now i started to get worried. i discovered a milder in my backpack, and that i couldinspect my wounds more closely. I didn?lokgood.

Luckily I almethodsbring a basicaid kit with me. My wife made me. i used to be capable of preventthe bleeding by putting a pressure bandage around my leg. And for the following two days I survived with the food and water I also carried with me. i will be able to tell you that so much goes on for your mind when you’re in a situation like that. Will I be found? Am I to die here? Will I ever see my family again?

My wife had known asthe police once I didn’t displayup at home at expected time. and fortunately i wished told here the site where I went. they discovered my car and began a search. the next day to come I heard someone yell into the cave. Do i would like to mention I felt a huge relief? I yelled back and willnot describe the gratitude I felt for being alive in that moment.

Apparently I had taken a step into the darkness and had fallen 20 feet down. The paramedics told me I had lost a large number of blood, and that without the clickingure bandage i mayhave bleed to dead.
